Im not so sure.. Salford location wise is fantastic, you have an excellent stadium & good facilities. I don't know about your fan base but surely with some excellent marketing you could increase your gate and then start to benefit from the new stadium.

Although it doesnt help you now, I think the RFL have relaxed the ground rules for the moment due to the current climate. Castleford look to benefit from this for the moment but they should have done something along these lines sooner. Rugby League doesnt make money, unfortunately we have to accept this now and expecting clubs to build shiny new grounds to stay in Super League is a big ask IMO.

RL needs Salford as the representative of the City of Manchester. Back in the days of David Watkins they were the team of their time, I would love to see those days again and a repeat of the fantastic Salford vs Cas Challenge cup final.
