First game for Sale at Barton tonight. Early observations:

Salfords club shop has been emptied out and replaced with Sale merchandise.
The East stand is now known as the MBNA East Stand.
The North stand is now known as the BMI Healthcare North Stand.

Hopefully a few of them will decide to park on Brookhouse.

Saw a clip of them on Sky training on the astroturf.
Our badge on the stand was blacked out.
So much for this working together bull$hit

Sale playing in OUR ground tonight just about puts the cherry on the top of this week's cake doesn't it?

Just as a matter of interest , I went on the Sale Sharks site to see how much my seat in the West stand would cost for tonight`s game against Leinster.----------------£37 plus a fee for picking up at the ground!!!!!

£!5 in the standing though. Wonder if Salford will do something similar next year and reduce the standing price but maybe whack a couple of quid onto the cost of going in the seats.

Two for £14 on groupon which isn't bad value really.

I'd like to know what the difference in takings from the corporate, dining and on site beer sales is between us and Sale.

Went past the stadium on the way home from work, quite busy even at 5 o'clock. Painful to see really never gonna get use to this. These are dark days.

Are these names just for Sale games? Who has sold the sponsorship/gets the money? Were we just unable to find sponsors from our client base or does our lease not let us.

Have they physically covered the Reds badges on the stand?

Feels like a hostile takeover. Sad state of affairs.

Just been on the M60, went passed at 8pm. The traffic was horrendous, gridlocked back past Trafford Centre junction. The inside lane was not moving at all. Sale fans will be far from impressed, a look on their forum tomorrow will make interesting reading.

Would like to find out the crowd tonight, if the attendance is not near to capacity then I would love to see the traffic when there is a sell out!

That's not new. It took the shuttle bus about 20 minutes to get from the top of the bridge to the roundabout when we played Wigan in the pre-season friendly.

Im glad I dont have to make that journey. If the traffic is gridlocked on the M60 when the game is kicking off there must be lots of people missing kick off? Or is it the unfortunate residents of the one road in one road out district of Irlam & Cadishead that are kopping for most of the tailbacks.
