I've been down today the north stand is going. The photographer from the club was there not sure of his name but he has been involved for years. Such a sad feeling so many memory's at that place

I would be careful when posting comments like that Marshy1, i may drop a dumbell on your foot in the gym (by accident of course).

I had a mate who got one of the houses on Station Rd when they were first built, used to love going on the loo in there, always a pleasure and he had such good reading material.

It was a real rugby league stadium loved the place the stand behind the sticks was before its time and still put most to shame to this day

I still wonder how many stadiums could benefit from it to this day, but no doubt the contractor has the best price already agreed for the steel.
