I've been down today the north stand is going. The photographer from the club was there not sure of his name but he has been involved for years. Such a sad feeling so many memory's at that place

Were they taking the roof off? I was told yesterday that the structure will be up for a couple more weeks while they strip the asbestos from the roof. |

You would have thought that they would have stripped the Asbestos at the same time as they stripped it from the variety centre |

The asbestos was/is in the Austin Trueman stand. I'm about to re-post the link as I've added more photos today. The guys in the blue protective suits are the asbestos team. The North Stand roof will come down in just over a week, hopefully I'll be able to post pictures of that coming down. |

I've added 35 new photos to the album today so I'm re-posting the link. Work permitting, I'll be able to add more photos as the work continues. Sad to say that the final photo will be a flat space with a view from Willows Road to Edward Avenue.

They were taking the seats and back panels from the right hand side at about 3 yesterday so guessing the rest will be today |
