Considering that this fixture last year was one of the better memories of the willows, I was just woundering if any one has come terms that we will never play there again.?
As for me it was a massive part of my childhood watching Salford at the willows and also playing there a few times and even though the new ground is better than I expected it just isn't the same by miles

Build it and they will come! Where are the people on here now who swallowed that BS.

I'm not sure anyone bought that to be honest.

We are not short of things to moan about but IMO the one thing we have to be positive about is the ground (even though it's not finished). All we need now is a competitive team and strong off-field administration. Feel free to moan about that.

Oh they did and there were plenty of them commenting about it on this very forum!



Why?

Because IMO it's a good ground. It needs finishing for sure but it has all the makings of a good base for us.
