It is pathetic if you ask me. It has been done on the cheep with no though or no real marketing potentioal behind it. We should have had two mascots like other clubs have, one for the real young ones and one for the familys (and to win the magic mascot competition

We've got a cuddly mascot like all the other clubs,
I remember going to Trafford centre for a Super league launch, us and Catalan only clubs not represented with mascots
It's always going to be tough for us mascot-wise, it's not as obvious as say a wolf, rhino, tiger etc. But I suppose if the kids like him/it, then that's all that matters. It's not going to be me at the edge of the pitch giving him high 5s and getting pictures or whatever. Hopefully the Junior Devils thing as a whole will have some decent schemes to get the kids and their parents interested in Salford. Ideally, I think this sorta thing should've been done before the season started - a big build up to the new stadoum. Better late than never though.
