Almost one out of twenty of the Salford electorate actually racked up at a polling booth and indicated that their first choice of mayoral candidates was Ms Garrido. Crumbs. Ian Stewart is the first choice of almost one in eight of Salford's voters. It looks like not even Tweedledum and Tweedledee combined can command significant support.

I disagree: I think there are a lot of people, with opinions, but just not impressed by the choice offered. So maybe they should start their own party instead of sitting on their ar3e. That's difficult to disagree with. And I'd think about doing that myself but where I live if you put a blue rosette on a donkey it would get elected (in fact I think that actually happened - my MP is Philip Hammond).
