| Lets not over react.
We are a loyal bunch us Salford fans. No matter how much we moan we have the odd idiot who says they wont turn up at the next game.
In all honesty though, I have never seen a lesser lack of effort in any game for many years. Very dissapointing.

Gleeson also has no defence, and opposition teams are taking full advantage of our weaknesses.

| Owen in for wagga what a load of crap, do you even watch rugby league you blame that performance on wagga selection. Wagga was on 18 mins salford had not 1 attacking play. He smashed every one who come near him, the tackle which gave him concussion he put his head infrount of a props knee to stop him scoring. Tell ya mate you ain't got a clue about rugby.

Not blaming him solely for that dire display. Just think Owen offers more.
And Ive seen Owen dump some pretty big forwards on their backsides as well.
Maybe the better option would be Owen and Wagga interchanging ???

| And also on the Howarth comment, when salford eventually got on top do you even recall 1 run from dummy half???? From quick plays aswell!! No!! Have you seen the shape of the ball from his passing??? I recall 2 salford attacks near wakefields line when he actually passed it over smiths head!

| Take your point on owen though he does scoot from dummy half, when he come on as impact against a tiring defense. Wagga starts and does the hard stuff first. Also this is only his 3rd game this season. Fans have the shortest memories, wagga was one of the top performers from last season and got a freak injury in first game. That first 20mins today salford didnt even touch ball so how can wagga scoot, would have Owen done any different??

Max - as Waggas agent you are doing him a disservice. I never suggested Howarth was a scooter - he gets the line moving though. I am not anti Wagga - more pro Owen at the moment as more attacking options come from Owen & Howarth currently.

| Hooker should be Wagga and Owen with Howarth either on bench and interchanging with Wild or just not selected and I'd like to see Sneyd playing a few games instead of Holdsworth. Once again he had no idea what to do and the fact that Gibson had to slow down for him to get the try shows how unfit the fella is. Hopefully he'll see just how important the position is and it might give him the kick up the backside that he needs. As for fullback, anyone wo knows how to tackle and position himself correctly would do for me. Patten, with the exception of his attacking abilities, is one of the poorest fullbacks we've had. Yes he'll be missed next season in the attacking lineup but atleast we might have a fullback who's in the right position and communicating with the team. Last line of defence is vital!

| Or to look at it from a different perspective.
Holdsworth went from defence to backing up Gibson, who is quick.
That shows how fit Holdsworth is.
If he has no idea then how come he put Nero through the gap and ,I think, gave the long pass for Gibson to score?
Patten is not the best defensive full back we've had,not in Gary Broadbents class, but he more than makes up for it in attack where he's one of the best.
Starting with Feka doesn't work, you need the energy that James or Jewitt has ,to create the right platform early on.
Patten and Holdsworth need a platform and did well when we gave them one.
