On the day I was quite upset. I thought certain things could have been handled a lot better, the team seriously let us down (I gather Parish went mental at them, and rightly so) and not being able to stay past 645 in the ground was shocking.

I'm quite positive about the future though. Moving to Barton should allow us to shift certain people out of the Club (some people are going to get wondering exposed as being useless when we move to Barton) and hopefully, to leave certain muppets behind us an attract a new fan base.

I have been going to the Willows since I was 14 yrs old, and took my 4 yr old son for the first time for the last game of the season on Sunday and he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

It was a family event and I must admit I did buy the tickets with no freebies!! As a family, we are looking forward to the move to Barton, not only because it is 10mins away from where we live, but I have just seen the CGI (computer generated images) of Port Salford and the Trafford Centre which looks amazing on vimeo.com which highlights what the area is going to look like. It makes very interesting veiwing.

There is only one way forward these days, and thats to keep up with progress. We can complain for the next 110 yrs about the move, but it will not change matters. How about we embrace the fact that next season is going to be fantastic and lets hope the team has a positive attitude towards it all!! c015.gif

Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday icon_biggrin.gif, apart from the result of course. Great to see so many people there as well, hopefully many of them will follow us to Barton. Typical though, whenever there's a big marketing push and a large attendance, we seem to get battered on the pitch. What was the second highest attendance this season, the Warrington match? And look how that turned out icon_sad.gif, although that attendance was probably due to there being a good few thousand Wire fans.

But yeah, back to Sunday, really really enjoyed myself, was great to see the legend's parade, and the minute silence etc were all nice touches. Can't wait for the new season already, roll on Barton icon_biggrin.gif

Would love to see the music at the end of the game replicated in the hight of summer next year, that and something along the BBQ thing would be wonderfull at the new ground.
Think the effort made to get the ex players down was brilliant and again shows what can be done by the club when they pull thier collective fingers out.

I was most pleasently surprised that they didn't run out of beer (which I expected).

Apart from the Blue and Yellow choice for fireworks I doff my cap to a brilliant day.
