Quote: RED1 "This is SO dangerous for the 1st year at stadium....if we have a team which isnt winning matches....people WILL NOT come...we only get one chance to move to a new staidum and ride the positivity wave of that move...please dont let us balls it up by having a team getting beat every week!!!'"

Bingo.....

The reason we haven't announced any new signings is because we won't be making any.... The salary cap is 1.6 million!....this year we came in at just under a million. Next year we are going to be reducing that by just over 200k.

Sad news I know but with that news is to come some more shocking news. News the fans I feel will be shocked and disappointed at. More than a shake up. More like a wipe out....

Some people have hit the nail on the head about using a pigs ear. ETC ETC. But what's not yet known is that it will be done using a cows hole. and all because MP has been told to slash the squad and reduce the deficit by 200k for next year.

Saying that rather than starting a new thread ( "he's going" ) I'd be interested to see who people think will get the boot and why on this thread. Or who won't and why etc.
Forgot the new signings....grab an autograph of your favourite Salford player while you can...

I wouldnt get too excited about joel moon signing; he,s been dropped to the lower league at least twice this season for poor performances, his game depends on confidence which for me he seems to be lacking. He seems to get caught in no mans land when defending. He was told he would not be retained by the nz warriors next season.

I'm pretty sure that was a typo in League Express. I doubt he would be coming over here if he was scoring tries at such an astonishing rate.

25 trys in 78 appearances ( Career Total ) which isn't that bad for a centre/ stand off half , however he has only featured in 7 of the 23 2011 telstra premiership games for the Warriors .
