Anderson's got decent stats there. Just goes to show you that there is more to games than meets the eye.

I look at that and weep at the prospect of losing Cashmere, he is going to be ireplacable.

And you look at Henry and think why would we be letting him go?

I like Henry and I'd love for us to keep him. There's a lot of people saying we should be holding onto players like him, what's the Club doing etc etc. If he does not stay it may be his decision. The Club might want to keep hold of him, but like Cashmere he may just want to return home. There's a thousand different reasons why a Club does not retain players, and I notice a lot of people calling the Club when, in fact, they don't know the reasons behind a decision.

The same goes in the opposite order. People saying we shouldn't retain certain players when, in fact, their contribution is greater than they thought. I'm using Anderson here as his stats are there to be seen.

Just an observation.

As much as I like Mark and believe me I do he's been a good servant to us and it, I've said it before he doesn’t create enough as a centre (which is what we signed him as) and isn't fast enough to be a winger he'll be 31 next season, he makes decent meters and appears to be strong as an ox but really, does anyone else in super league fear him? I just think there must be someone younger out there that could do his job.

If we keep him I'll have no complaints as I'm sure he could give us another good year but I think we need to move on.

Cashmere is going to be a massive loss for us, come next season, but no one is irreplaceable. I'll compare it to when Eric Cantona retired, Man Utd adapted and the work he did got shared around the rest of the team. Boyle and Jewitt have improved this season, too lesser degree so has Sidlow. Hopefully the new coaching regime will have the players better conditioned come the start of next season, and the younger props should be ready to step up.

If McPherson has been signed to play second row, a Wild, Anderson and McPherson backrow has some size to it. However, we are looking a little light on props, especially if Cashmere and Feka leave. Unless we need to free space on the salary cap I'd be saying to Feka, "If you want to keep your job, you spend the entire off season in England, having your weight fitness monitored very closely!!!!"
