And a centre is only has good has is backs,and the backs r only has good has the forwards.you could go on all night about it you couldn't blame the lad if he went especially the way the club has been this year.

Hopefully he plays for the club which he feels is the best for him, be it Salford, Wigan or Warrington. Lets just hope he's left to choose his own destiny and people respect that.

I know and I am not critical of it, but sometimes as we have seen whats best for the agent is not best for the player, from football Shaun Wright-Phillips move to Chelsea for instance. Just hope it is what Stef wants.

Lets be honest, no one can blame him if (when?) he goes. We should have built a team around the likes of Ratchford in the 3 years since getting a franchise, instead he has spent most of the time playing wing/centre/full back/sub.

Can't blame him if he wants to go to a bigger club.
His best games for us were from centre.
He's undoubtedly a talent but I just have a sneaking feeling he's not quite as good as some think .

wise words Pev wise words, if i was him, id bulk up in the summer and look at improving his centre play, he would be world class imo

Players come and go. It would be a shame to lose Ratch but life goes on. I truly think if he does go he would be missed less than you think. He's clearly talented but has not commanded a regular position in the team (For lots of reasons, I know) Our core positions of 1, 6, 7, and 9 are pretty strong and we wouldn't be losing one of those core positions. Of course it's nice to have the best players fill the rest of the team, but he's a young lad and he should do what's best for his career.

Some people on here make out that there will protests in the street, wailing and tears from the Salford masses if he goes. Just like the same people said about Myler (Who was a core position) and when he left, what happened?

Players come and go, it's part of the game. What we have to hope for is that if he does go, our new coach will bring someone else in to make us forget about Ratch and concentrate on Salford City Reds...
