You'll be made more than welcome at the World Famous 'Stade de South Leeds' !! - providing the infamous South Leeds Mistral doesn't intrude like last Sunday then it should be a good game as we're doing okay this season.

The club has its own bar called the Pheonix Bar situated on the Right Hand side of the stand as you approach and you'll be made more than welcome for a drink in there. Car Parking is plentiful but be careful about parking directly outside the stand as there is a (deliberate) 90 minute parking restriction there and the Council love to book people. The free, large Car Park is right at the mini roundabout as you approach the Complex and only a very short walk away from the Stadium.

There is normally a bar open overlooking the ground and concession stands for the usual food etc.The stadium is generally all-seater with spectacular views from the Upper deck and the fans tend to mix in well.
Leigh came over last year and insisted on standing in the areas where seats have been moved out (for some strange reason!!) and thoroughly enjoyed their time as our guests. Just a warning - it can get a little cool as the sun sits mainly behind the stand during the match so wrap up well if its a cold day!!

It will be great to see as many of you there as possible as I don't think we've ever played you at the Stade. I do remember the replay at The Willows last time we played - I was away for the draw at MacLaren Field !!

Hope Lowey has a good show and Ritchie Barnett can stretch his legs - oh and thanks for Paul Mansson many years ago - what a great player he was for us ! We have a couple of players from your side of the hill in Crusaders loanee Elliott Kear and Andy Yates, a lively prop from St Helens.

See you all on Sunday - listen out for me !!

The guys we spoke to wished us well for the rest of the season and generally were friendly.

Every club has nutters. I did hear a woman shouting about off side all ganme she was funny.

We were on the top tier too and though most of the fans were OK we were told that Salford had gone bankrupt two days after the last round of franchises and that our new Stadium would never be built. As one of us said, "Never let the truth spoil a good story."

The fact is that we were a National League side not too long ago and we never exhibited any of the resentment towards Super League sides that some Hunslet fans seemed to show yesterday.

On a separate note, Ryan Boyle impressed me very much yesterday. He never seems to get the plaudits but he seems to be getting better and better week by week. Long may it continue.

I think all that was lacking on the top tier amongst the moaning Hunslet fans were those two old guys who used to sit in the balcony on the Muppet Show. Reminds me of our last visit to Dewsbury. They were all bitter as well! icon_lol.gif

Spot on Dave I though Boyle had a great game he made yards every time he drove the ball in, really stood out for me.

I think the whole team approached the game professionally and rightly so...got the win, Ryan Boyle impressed but it was Adamson who stood out the most. Nice to see a rounded attacking performance from him ( @ Loose Forward ) from start to finish.

With him not having to do the majority of the tackling he was able to showcase his attacking skills, (and from were I was sat) boy did he. Superb double hand off for the first try and a lovely line for the first try of the second half.

Hopefully the team and (current) coach will take away some insight from Sunday and Adamson will be given more space at Loose Forward to give us another performance like that. Nice to see what he can really do when he's not putting in 42 tackles a game.

Onwards and upwards.
