K.O.T.S probably knows this. In the super league era how many times has Salford shipped in 50 points or more. I'll hazzard a guess and say at least 30 times. But I bet the stats are frightening. Oh well another 100 quid day watching Salford. Sick to death of it.

I reckon Salford's fans are the friendliest i've come across and haven't got a bad word to say about them[/quote:inve33bl][/size:inve33bl] Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG

I think the 50+ figure is the most concerning.

Whilst conceding 30 or even 40 points is not good, it's not uncommon. There are plenty of game where one team (or even both teams) score 30-40 points.

50 and above is far less common though ..... unless you're a Reds fan icon_confused.gif

Looking at it season by season, our worse (so far) was back in 2001 when we conceded 30 or more on 17 occasions although we did manage to score that amount 7 times which was our best return, only four games didn't involve 30 points or more from one team, entertaining season icon_eek.gif

In 2007 we managed to score 30+ once and conceded the same amount 15 times.

So far this year we're already on 2 v 8!

id be happy if we finished in + points difference this year but it looks like we wont again !!!!

can see us winning this weekend but it will only cover up the massive problems we have at our club, but doesnt look like its gonna be sorted soon, we all need to get to the next forever reds meeting and get some answers from the club because our loyal fans aint gonna put up with this for much longer and i fear the worst for the club.

From what I've seen this season and the highlights from huddesfield I've come to the conclusion that defensively our turnstyle areas are on the edges, the people giving me most concern are smith, Adamson and ratchford teams seem to be targeting this area of the field and doing some serious damage.

In theory putting adamson between ratchford and smith in the lline is a good idea as he can share the other twos work load defensively in practice it doesnt seem to be working as all they are doing is taking adamson out of the equation by sending big units down his channel quick play of the ball and both ratchford and smith are sitting ducks.

The way to solve this is that left hand side defence has to be stronger and more aggressive in defence, the same happened to the wizard earlier on in the season teams tried to run over him and take away energy fortunately we won this little duel and he is going back to hisvform from last year
