| One Swallow doesn't make a Summer!
Credit is due to whomever it's due. I'm just not sure who that should be. (certainly the players).
I must admit though, there is one thing that stands out for me in this victory, is Luke Patten playing when he could probably not, and probably should not have done (with good reason). That alone shows that this fella knows what real pride is about, and is the sort of commitment that we really need.
I dare say that we won't be able to watch or listen to any Super League media programmes now without hearing/ listening to "words of wisdom from SM: in spite of not seeing hide nor hair from him the last week or so.
P.S. I have been having a bit of a debate with The Butcher today: re: SM the for and against argument(s).
I'd like to know if SM has ever availed himself (and if so, how often?) at the "forever Reds" meetings over the period of his tenure at The Willows ?

| Don't think people should get carried away with the performance. Not that I'm being a 'Kill Joy' Just being realistic, still far too many penalties being given away, no disrespect to Wakefield but if that was against a better side I think we would of been punished more. Hope he sticks with Smith at hooker and leaves Stef and Holdsworth to form a partnership and we might start seeing some more consistency, good effort from the forwards today in what was a pitch more likened to Rabbit Hills rather than a Super League pitch. Have in said that a wins a win and at least we're off the mark now and after watching Wigan then I feel the fans will be shouting for the coaches head again next week. One can only hope that Wigans effort will take their toll on them although there stand in players will no doubt be more than adequate replacements.

| I do agree you lot played well today but at the same time we were poor. We are a fair weather team to be honest. If you look at how light weight we are when ever it's heavy going we are always going to struggle. France was probably ideal for us.
