my limited understanding is that its the best 8 based on previous years but...I think it was a North / South split to the league. Very surprised not to see UWIC in the mix. In the cup comp, the pools have seen salford in with the super 8s suggesting that they are quite strong.

FWIW, Salford College are NW Champs in the college comp.

Yeah, so I heard. Elated but surprised to hear this as Hopwood Hall (where I studied on my Access to HE course) last year were streets ahead of Salford. All the same, great news!
