| What do you expect when they are both now based in Oldham. This weeks Advertiser has a headline with Cadishead Rhinos winning their match. But when you read the copy they were actually beaten by a totally different scoreline from the one published under the heading. A few weeks ago they had a story about a horse rider from Culcheth (Cheshire) in the News section and a rugby report from a team in Oldham in the sport!!!
The Advertiser has gone down hill rapidly in the last 12 months, both in it's sport and news content, a lot of which has already been in the M.E.N. Still much can't be expected when Salford Sport does not have a dedicated sports journalist anymore...

| Quote king of the shed="king of the shed"Is there any chance you could stop putting pictures of Ryan Boyle in your publications with the name of Daniel Holdsworth under them. They may look a little alike however one is a prop, you know the rough, tough guys upfront and the other is a halfback you know the creative one.
That's all, thanks!

Hahaha i have noticed this on 2-3 occasions. Says Salford star Daniel Holdsworth (Above) Is favourite to become skipper, just a picture of Boyle. Idiots.

| Wow, I'm in a state of shock, the M.E.N have posted an article on Holdsworth becoming the Captain and they have even managed to put a picture of Dan and not Ryan Boyle, well done to them!!!

| Quote king of the shed="king of the shed"Wayne Marshall 1994/95? (Clearly we had Peter Edwards but he was a Kiwi) and who could forget youtube boy Chris Brogese!?'"
Quote king of the shed="dann_salford"Of course, completely forgot about Borgese! Mind you its understandable, he only played a few games didn't he? Against Bramley and Batley IIRC.
And although I was born, I'm too young to remember Wayne Marshall
'"
Thought Wayne Marshall was signed as a playmaking Loose forward ?
Peter Edwards was Signed as a Fullback , but moved to 'ooker beacuse of an injury to our 1st choice No9 then stayed there. ..
Mark Lee was signed as a Loose Forward, but was used in this position
Borgese was a half back , but Jeremy Smith-like was used as interchange no.9 beacause he couldn't cut it at 6 or 7.
I'm really struggling to name any overseas signing we've brought over [uspecifically[/u to cover the Hooking role , Leo Latu would've been the first had he been able to drive properly ..
