Just wanted to let people know that you will be able to sign the petition to show your opposition to the closure of the maternity unit at the game v Wakefield. If it shuts basically means no more Salfordians.

As the fantastic staff at Hope brought my 4 sons into this world, I'll gladly sign.
(We've been signing these for the last 5 years haven't we ?)
Whilst I was born @ Davyhulme Hosp I've always lived in Salford and am proud to call myself a Salfordian. What a shame if future generations won't be able to proudly say "I was born in Salford"
My first two kids were both born at Hope and the third one was meant to be too, but when the time came they were full so we were sent to St Mary's in Mcr.
This chance to compare Hope to St Mary's made me even more convinced that Hope MUST retain its maternity services.
