according to the manchester evening news, salford are planning on appointing 5 captains, like wigan did at the start of this season ! even tho andy coley admitted it didnt work at first ! but then again, it bought them success !
i would just like to get fellow fans views on this idea ?

By all accounts Phil Bailey is a natural leader both on and off the park. He's very good with the youngsters as well apparently so maybe he's and ideal captain, if not on the field then maybe as club captain?

I was quite sceptical when Wigan annouced this at the start of the season , thought it was a get out , but speaking to Wigan fans who speak to the players it has gone down very well both on & off the pitch.
We've had nearly a decade of Alker trying to lead from the front now it's time for a change.
with the players staying on & the incoming experience we will have plenty of natural leaders on hand to make this work.
Patten Holdsworth Bailey Cashmere Anderson for instance and plenty of other candidates
