I'm neither an Architect nor a Structural Engineer, but have no reason to doubt that previously reported and documented plans which detail the fact that the capacity of the stadium can be increased as and when necessary.
Didn't soaring material costs and the (ongoing) recession see off the original design and capacity ? If so, wasn't it almost entirely accepted that a scaled down version was the only way forward ?
Why then are people still whinging about what the ground will hold when the build is compete ?
What the hell does it really matter ?
The Willows had run it's course and was not suitable for expansion. What were the alternatives ?
Some people are never happy, and as far as I'm concerned should alter their outlook on life.
I couldn't give a damn if it initially only holds 12k, it keeps our club alive and in with good chance of growth and success.
Those who have devoted countless amounts of time and energy to get the project to this stage have my utmost admiration.
Could any of the moaners have done better ??

Phone one up and tell them to start the day after because the fans want it built by the end of next month. Then you pay for it out of the millions the club makes every year. Simples
