Yesterday was embarrassing. There's no other word for it. We were a shambles. For me only Ray Cashmere came out of the game with any credit.

If any other group of paid employees performed as badly in their working environment and failed to reach reasonable targets that had been set for them then their Line Manager would be held to account. Shaun Macrae is responsible for that performance in the last analysis and he is answerable.

I know he didn't tell Gibson to kick the ball infield to nobody when it seems he only had to fall over the line; nor did he tell Alker to kick to their left winger when we had a twenty metre tap or tell Ratchford to put in a chip kick to two offside team mates on the last tackle on our twenty metre line, but he did give the team a game plan before the match presumably. What was it? We did not seem to be organised in any way. We had no options with ball in hand and our defensive line was static to allow them 10 metres at evey play the ball. In contrast, Brian Noble's team was organised, aware and gave the ball carrier options in attack at all times.

We may not have the most talented bunch of players in Super League as others have rightly pointed out, but they cannot be as bad as they seemed yesterday, and that's down to the coach.

Yes he is ultimately responsible, but if a line manager realised half or more of the staff were not up to the job and he or she were bold enough to get rid and find much better replacements could you fault them for that? It's my guess that the rejected players are talking to each other and are pi**ed with the situation because nobody else wants them apart from possibly National League clubs, and they'll have to take a massive cut in wages!
It's like saying to somebody that your too old or you are not good enough .. and I don't want you anymore because I've found someone much better.. but until you have finished working your notice I want total commitment and 110% effort. Yes you can ask for it but are you realistically going to get it?

We blooded one of our youngsters vs Leeds (Sneyd). He had a good game. At any other club with nothing to play for he would be given a run in the team til the end of the season. Instead he is dropped for a half fit Ratchford. Pretty much sums it up.

Did anyone else get conned withe the ticket prices.Checked Crusaders website sunday morning,said a fiver for concessions and twelve quid to sit anywhere.Wasnt going to bother going [skint but at a fiver I changed my mind.Queue for tickets was a farce,big queues in office with 2 little tills.Got told it was £20 not five,after arguing with man on till ,was told , take it or leave it.Managed to get a concession for £15 but was not a happy chappy!!!!!

I'd take him over Talau for the amount of games he's missed for us over the past two years. Plus 9 tries to Talau's 2, 6 try assists to 3!
