| CATALANS DRAGONS 26-22 SALFORD CITY REDS
CATALANS
TCATALANS REYNIER, BERNARD, BIBENT, MILOUDI, CAPDEILLAYRE, GARRETA, FAGES, BORRAS, GUASCH, DACOSTA, SCIMONE, TORRES, MADANI, CYRIAQUE, BOUCHAREB, MIR, CALVO
SALFORD RILEY, HURST, FORD, MORRIS, ROBINSON, WHITEHEAD, EVALDS, DAVIDSON, OWEN, MARRIOTT, HOPE, STEPHENSON, PYE, FILES, RIMMER, JOHNSON, WILSON
THE GAME WAS PLAYED IN SWELTERING HEAT 30 DEGREES INFRONT OF A HEALTHY CROWD.
1ST HALF DOMINATED BY CATALANS WHO LED 20-0 AT THE HALF AFTER SCORING SOME GOOD TRIES, AND THE SECOND PERIOD COMPLETELY DOMINATED BY THE REDS WHO WOULD PROBALY HAVE WON HAD THE REFEREE NOT BLOWN FOR FULL TIME ON THE 4TH TACKLE DEEP IN CATALANS TERRITORY.
A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR THE YOUNG SALFORD PLAYERS AND OFFICIALS WHOSE DISCIPLINE ON THE PITCH WAS EXEMPLARY ESPECIALLY WHEN ON THE BACK OF SOME 'CUTE' FRENCH REFEREEING DECISIONS THROUGHOUT THE GAME.
I EAGERLY AWAIT THE RETURN AT THE WILLOWS WHEN I CONFIDENTLY PREDICT A SALFORD VICTORY.
NICE TO SEE THE SALFORD FANS IN GOOD VOICE AT THE STADE GILBERT BRUTUS
