Quote: GT "Scanners, I consider myself to be a person of fairly decent intelligence, capable of taking part in constructive, healthy, well-informed debate. However, there are times when you come across people in life who are so stuck in their ways that having such a debate with them is impossible. No matter how you, or others, put their arguments and viewpoints across, no matter what evidence is presented to them, the same response comes back. "I'm right, you're wrong." An attitude like that means that there is only one way to truly put across your own viewpoint and opinion in a manner befitting said person. I know it means that the only comeback after using this method is usually "see, you don't have a valid argument, you've just proven me to be right" but I feel justified in this instance, knowing that this methodology is pretty damned close to the point.
So, with many apologies to everyone else on here, I shall begin
Strange that you haven't actually chosen to present any evidence that supports the continued belief that this stadium will be built.
Do you have a problem with sound rebuttal of ridiculous statemets, with harsh facts to support such a rebuttal? Just ask yourself why the Salford club had to alter it's 'stadium party' press release............and whilst you are at it consider the fact that Dave tarry said 10 years ago that Salford would be in their iconic new stadium in 2003.............
