Wasn't Lezignan's flight only cancelled at such a time where they couldn't make any other arrangements to get over in time for the match? I know that doesn't fit in with the RFL double standards, it's all against us poor English type posts that are made without thinking, but y'know. Just something to ponder.
It would make interesting reading to know what penalties Salford would have incurred for not making it to France for the fixture.I caught a little of a radio interview with Steve Simms which he mentioned the the advice from RFL recieved by the club was, the game must be played on Sunday.
why didnt they have a plan B like us, they must have known no flights going any where from the friday. its not fair....what happens now as at the moment there are no flights until monday (or not) will they be made to take a coach and play midweek..
