| Quote Diavolo Rosso="Diavolo Rosso"I don't really care from a parochial point of view, my only concern would be covering the costs of opening the Stadium (ie. would Swinton's gate receipts cover our leccy bill).
With that in mind I think the idea above is spot on. I realise there's a different scale involved but the idea works well in Australia.'"
Why would it be our ( leccy bill ) it ain't our stadium

| I've advocated this for a long time, Swinton with the best will in the world are never going to get to SL standards and need help to survive.
We should use them as a feeder club, allow some of our younger fringe players to play with them, joint training sessions when possible, shared office staff and community duties.
As has been mooted above maybe a joint season ticket, double headers on a Sunday afternoon all off which again would increase revenue streams.
Think it would save both clubs money and in the long run help the playing standards increase for both clubs.

I agree. A stronger Swinton would benefit Salford a lot too.

| I don't care who plays at the new stadium at Barton besides Salford City Reds all that concerns me is that the stadium gets built in time for the 2012 Engage Super League Season and of course the Reds will still be part of the Super League.

| I reckon Man United reserves, Sale and then FC United are more likely, in that order.

FC United won't ground share with Salford. If they move anywhere else between now and their own ground being built it'll be somewhere like Hyde.
