So he's joined Warrington "Fur coat, no knickers" Wolves. If the reported rumours of a large fee are correct, then this could be a catalyst for us. Just as Paul Newlove leaving Bradford, and the players they received from Saints in exchange, played a significant part in Bradford's rise. I won't hold my breath though
Best of luck to him, although I think he has picked the wrong club. He probably could have gone to a big club with a better record for developing talent - e.g. Saints or Leeds. Who have Warrington developed in the last 10 years? He's still a developing player.
He's a smashing little player but most of his ability is 'potential'. He may not fulfill that potential or he could become the next Nigel Wright, and pretty much have his career ruined by injury. I cannot blame the club taking the fee. He wasn't a junior product and cost us next to nothing. He doesn't owe us anything.
I would have been very annoyed if he had stayed for the length of his contract and we missed out on a large fee.
