Saw Luke after the game, and he said Doctor stopped counting after 24 stitches. When we saw him, his eye was completey shut with a huge swelling. He said after half an hour of stitching the anaesthetic wore off and Doc couldn't give him anymore, due to the swelling.

Tough lad though, reckons he should be fit to play on Sunday.

there were defo more than 24....

I had my 5 stitches in my eyebrow without anaesthetic doc said i was too p155ed to have it
