Quote: mark richardson "I would have thought the points pretty obvious. You got Coley for nothing and he left after seven years for nothing. You got Myler and Sidlow in a similar fashion.
Its swings and roundabouts-you get some good uns - you lose some good uns. Its the unfortunate nature of modern rugby league. The spite against Coley and the self pitying attitude about the likely loss of Myler is almost scouse like in its magnitude.'"
Indeed but that has absolutely nothing to do with the original post. Other than the one idiotic post there isn't really anything in the thread that you would call bitter is there? In fact, for a Coley thread it seems quite tame
The fact is, is that he's in the final year of his contract and his form takes a turn for the good - it seems strange that quite a few Wigan fans have been slagging him off for the best part of his tenure there and at the back end of his contract he's playing well.
We didn't get the committment from him in our relegation year and people will always be bitter about that. It's not the fact that we lost him to another club - we didn't exactly slag off Hodgson for leaving did we? As fans all we ask for is that a player puts in the effort on the pitch - anyone who says Coley did that in the year we went down must be blind.
