Ive got a BIG red tablecloth that only gets an airing on christmas day, im sure if we throw it over you & stick some of those headband horns on you will look like Lucifer
Quote="SalfordSlim"The Shed was dire last week but there are far too many "factions" in there these days. I stand right in the middle and there are some right kn0bheads in & around me (Fat Geordie, Weasel Boy & that Vicky Pollard gobe who has ranting last week to name but a few
). I'd rather not join in any chant started by any of those and I'm guessing a lot of fellow fans feel the same.
Seems like a lot of the passionate fans on this forum stand in different places around the ground (understandable if you've got kids etc). For me The Shed should still be one of the most intimidating stands in RL. IMO, I think the atmosphere has suffered since away speccies stopped coming into The Shed. When I started watching Solly back in the early 90's I loved the games against Leeds especially because it felt we were outnumbered about 3 to 1 even in "our" stand. Yes there was the odd scuffle but both sets of fans were trying to outdo each other with the singing which made the atmosphere great. Now you're lucky if you get half a dozen away speccies in there who tend to move at half-time because they get threatened by some scrote who thinks they're ten-men.
I see what you say SS. i think the shed lost its intimidation about 5 years ago. i remember when they let the away support in and it was pretty good banter. now its dead with every sections singing anything they want and usuall behind me on the left side near the tunnel it is usually because they have had one to many. the only athmosphere now is when we travel away
Quote="middleman"I'll be there in the shed TBH I cannot fathom out the place this season, it's been like a morgue one week then rockin' the next.
... it will be nice just to forget about all that S-H-1-T for the time being and just look forward to a simple game of RL ,lose me voice shouting for the red arrrrmy and wishing for a good ol' against all odds giant killing at the expense of our plastic scouser friends from up the east lancs. quote
Rockin.... tick
