IF Perth were to get permission for a rectangular stadium it would be for the soccer and RU sides above an NRL side.

Besides, there's no evidence to suggest that an RL side in Perth would attracted bigger crowds than the almost 20,000 that would fit into the current soccer stadium.

I am all for RL expansion in all forms, and spreading the RL gospel to all parts, but I wouldn't hold your breathe for an NRL franchise in WA any time soon ... even if the Reds do have an online shop.
