Absoloutley devastating news. I knew Leon well as my son played alongside him at Salford. He was a tough cookie on the pitch, but a real genuine bloke off it. My thoughts are with all of his family and friends at this very very sad time (RIP Leon a shining light has just faded.)

I'm sure everyone connected with RL will be thinking of Leon and his family at 8.00 pm tonight, when there is a minutes silence prior to K/O at Belle Vue.
