Alker never has and never will be a top Super League Hooker.
His distribution and decision making are slow, however he is a great tackler and could get away with playing back row in Super league as he also runs a good line onto the ball out wide.
This said he should not be Captain if we have genuine ambitions to be a top 8 Super League Club.
