It looks to me like the club needs to employ a defensive coach alongside McRea. We look absolutely clueless in this department and we did last season too when Wakey, Celtic, Whitehaven, Widnes all showed that we can't defend for toffee.

It was my biggest worry going into this season and it doesn't look like it's been addressed.

We know we can score when we get the ball - sort the defence out first and build from there.

SL has advanced a lot - remember last year in NL when we played Wakefield in the cup - we all thought we had a chance - but how wrong were we then?

It is going to take time - that's going to be hard to take .......

what gets me about the coming to speed with super league is that cashmere. smith, swain, henry and parker should all be used to it! players who played in the world cup littler, fitzy, wilshere should be pretty much up to speed but there not! think it's a poor excuse tbh
