| i'm not against london having a superleague club but surely after watching that first half they can't carry on like they are for much longer on or off the field. little enthusiasm from the players, loads of errors, booed off at halftime, coach under fire, another sp crowd.
and the crux of it is it does not look good on live tv
rovers playing very well by the way to be fair, but they are being massively helped

| I think the London players should forfeit their pay. Given the pedigree of some of those Australians, they have a shocking attitude and deserve to be booed off the pitch. I'm amazed the small number of fans that have turned up have actually turned up. The team don't deserve them. The coach doesn't because clearly he isn't up to the job either.
It's a damn shame because they could have been building something good but instead the bunch of clowns who are pulling on the shirt - thinking particularly of those overpaid idle Australians - are ruining it.

The team only needs a few changes:
1. Get rid of witless Michael Witt and always injured David Howell.
2. Move Sarginson to stand off,
3. Put Colbon and Clubb in the centres for now, with Robertson on the wing.
4, Next year buy a bullocking centre like Jerome Ropati from NZ.
5. Get Tim Sheens as coach, if the club can outbid Koukash. Otherwise John Kear or Brian Noble.
6. Fire the incompetent CEO Gus McKay and invest in a professional marketing manager,

| SL needs a London club to provide a pathway for young players but the current club is embarrassing, the only saving grace is the junior development but literally everything else is unacceptable. Honestly I think the best thing would be for the current club to be dissolved and to start again from scratch, they must be one of the most bizarre entities in the history of sport.

The sole reason they are suffering now is the owner and the chimp he employed to turn things around.....either the RFL man up and take over or Halifax will take londons place in 2015.

"man up" in your dictionary would seem to mean "indulge in reckless, suicidal behaviour".
Broncos lose at least a million or two a year. The RFL does not have a million or two a year to lose. Therefore they would need to cut everything to support a side that is doomed anyway.
Broncos need to pick an area either south or east London and stay there. Play as a semi-pro club in a small stadium that they can fill; stay as Broncos (no new name changes) and try to build a community. Probably they will never play in the big league again but Championship rugby is still fun and it's got to be better than what's happening now.

| So, we disband the current London club, form another from scratch and, cos SL has to have a London club, put them straight into super league.
Yeah, that could work. We've never tried that before!

| My friends from down south have no interest in watching "London" whatsoever as they quite rightly believe it would:
1. Be a waste of time
2. Be a waste of money
They have nothing to play for, like most league clubs thesedays

| I don't see any way out of this other than yet another reboot. Organic growth doesn't seem to be acheiving anything for the SL team. Sure, amateur RL in London has done well and all that, but there's seemingly no benefit to London in the SL. Not sure why that is, and its hard to understand, but hard to ignore the evidence.
Don't get me wrong, I don't particular think a reboot stands a great chance either, but other than "do nothing" I don't know what you can do. Its all very well saying "better marketing", but market what? As a poster suggests, as they stand, they've nothing to play for. The only hope ( and not guaranteed to work either ) is for the sport, or investors, to stuff a load of money in, with salary cap exemptions, and essentially 'buy' a title contending team of stars to get London off it's a££ and up and running. You may think that's a really bad idea, and I'd have plenty sympathy with you, but if we can't live with ( or find the funds ) for that, we should kick them out of SL, because there's no sense in plodding along like this.
