It currently looks like goodbye to the current Wakefield and hello new Wakefield though mate. It still looks very likely that a side called Wakefield will be playing in SL for this season at least. Ironically they might not be playing in the city though, that one is still to be worked out.

it would be nice if this new wakefield club could come up with a catchy new name, might I suggest Wakefield Trinity RLFC for example. it sounds like a proud club steeped in history. alternatively you could always call yourselves something stupid like the Wakefield tomcats  |
