Doesn't half make me laugh the VT sometimes. If its not broke don't fix it. More youngsters in SL than ever before and the lower clubs imo are slowly but surely improving each year.

It's not happening like that though. More youngsters, but the standard is terrible and it's not bottom improving, it's top weakening. Compare the line ups for the Grand Final winners in 2003/4/5/6 to Wigan last year. |

We are indeed. Yet we're still 4th and were in touching distance of top spot until last weekend? Says it all about the standard of the league. It's definitely closer, but it's not the standard of the bottoms teams moving upwards, it's the top teams being levelled off.

Compare the national side back then to the one now. Wellens, Long, Cunningham, Senior. These players have all retired/moved on from international rugby and we need to start replacing these with young established SL talent. |

Tosh, ask any KR fan, Cas fan, Hudds fan, Wigan fan, Wire fan, Catalans fan, Crusaders fan and probably salford fan are they in a better position as a club now than they were 4 or 5 years ago and ill tell you what the answer would be

And has been for umpteen years and this has never been turned into an advantage.
