To buy a club out of admin you pay off debts. That's how it works. Potential new owners put in an offer to pay debt off e.g. 20p for every pound. The best offer gets the administrators backin then once people owed debts agree it all goes through.

Well whenever clubs are in the news for administration (Leeds united & Pompey) that's how it's all explained!

You may be right on both counts. I am just going off what I read on here, although the ones I rely on are from people who seem to be quite knowledgeable.

In fact, the club about to be relegated changes not one jot. Other club goes out of existence, and struggling club avoids relegation through a sham.
