even at 35 he's a top draw NRL ' Name '
And I guess most of the response is more engineered to taunt the Lobby's than a meaningful discussion over the guys merits.
I suspect a fair few SL sides would have been more than happy to acquire his signature for a season.
I bought RLWC tickets for Tonga at the LSV solely to see him in action and will probably do the same next season.
He's also not the first Moimoi to turn out for Leigh who have a long standing link with Tonga heritage players.
I suspect no matter how he plays next season he'll be a marketing dream for them.'"
Spot on. I only wish he'd signed for London

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

I hope it all works out for them.'"
In a word, Yes

| Tonight Leigh have had decent slots on both Granada and BBC sports news adding to huge national print exposure yesterday, not bad and priceless for the brand

Salary cap - you're havin a laugh.: |
|
| Quote: maurice "icon_lol.gif
Whilst the bring back franchising comment was tongue in cheek, I am concerned how some of the clubs will afford the new £1m salary cap.
There does seem to be a renewed level of interest in the championship however, and I hope this results in increased crowd figures to cover the increase in outlay from many of the clubs. I'm not sure sales of Moi Moi wigs alone will be enough.

Average crowds in SL will rise in 2015 and average crowds in Championship will rise in 2015. First one due to London dropping down, second due to Bradford going with them.....888 is a WinWinWin all around

I'd agree, however it is how attendances stand up in the next 5/10 years is the important factor
If as some have predicted nobody moves up or down then they most likely will fall, if however we see real competition, then they might rise, only one way to find out

5/10 years? With the same structure? Are you new to this game of RL?

| Excellent signing for the lobby gobblers. Will definitely pay a visit when us pie eaters are away on the dark side of the Pennines.

You will be better off spending your money to see the two dazzling talents joining Super League -- Todd Carney (Catalans) and Albert Kelly (Hull KR) -- rather than an ageing prop forward playing 30 minutes a game in the second division.
You would even be better off taking a trip to see Gateshead's bevy of Papua-New Guinea stars, especially PNG's equivalent of Billy Boston -- the muscular flying winger Garry Lo.

It is "Shiite", not "sheeeite," even though the sound suggests such spelling. In any case I would have expected Sunni rather than Shiite, as in the cases of Sonny Bill Williams and Hazem el Mazri. Nevertheless, if I am not mistaken, all of the players mentioned are a "load" of Christians.

Your insults do not address the facts and arguments I have raised: specifically that the signing of Fui Fui Moi Moi was a coup for a second division club, but that it pales beside the significance and entertainment value of the signings of the much more talented Todd Carney and Albert Kelly in the division that really counts.
