| yep, Hudds have improved dramatically recently, and getting them in the first team is the over-riding aim. But they need to keep it up

....to be fair, Huddersfield are one of the most progressive clubs in SL. They have less jonny foreigners than any other team and have a fan base that has grown considerably over the lst 5 years. They play in a stadium that is new.....and their academy made the GF Qualifier a couple of years back. They will improve on the conveyer belt front over the next 3 years.
Salford have a tricky problem. Are they "expansion" or are they not? They are looking over their shoulders at the next round of licencing and have assembled a pretty strong squad for next year.......
Hull Kingston Australians on the other hand are just an easy target...................

SL survival (11th place)
7th place (and SL Club of the Year)
4th place
7th place (but a first ever win in the play-offs)
Crowd increase from 2500 to 8000 in the space of two years.
Think you'll find we're one of the more progressive clubs actually GF.
With your pathetic support and lack of 'giving a s*it' from all but those 2000 diehards, I wouldn't say you're a progressive club personally, don't even really class you as an SL-standard club in fact.

No, to be fair - 1 from 39 is a bit disappointing. The only consolation is that for once we're been judged on meaningful indicator. It is possible that our development system will disappoint. It might be a success. Replacing Ben Galea with Lee Radford would make no difference, either way.
Hudds have come a long way and there is much to admire there. But what is the theory that their conveyor belt [iwill[/i produce more quality players over the next 3 years based on?
Salford are not an expansion club - they've won 1 more championship and just as many challenge cups as Hull KR. They joined the NU in 1896 and I think they've missed just 3 seasons of SL. Their squad does look stronger for 2011 - they've signed a lot of experienced foreigners, the quota-dodging gets Anyway, I think it is testament to just how far Rovers have come that we are currently judged in certain quarters by more stringent standards. Thanks for the back-handed and entirely unintentional compliment.

Yes it is , basically you are expected to produce players , and you will , the people criticising you know that , that is why they are having a go at you now , they know it is only a matter of time

You could have posted this circa 2001 and been talking about London RL....Let's hope HKA come good over the next few years...then they can shake off the "team full of aussies" tag.
