Toronto are the big spenders in the comp, of course they are a big draw, for now.
How about looking at attendances for home fixtures, when clubs play Catalan, who have fallen off their perch.
IF Toronto were to gain promotion and spend way in excess of other SL clubs, you may see the same "interest". However, if, on the other hand, they become average or, easybeats (like Catalan ), the curiosity factor would disappear and they would lose their "appeal" and attendances would drop when they came over.

They (Toronto) for now, have some "pull" due to their big spend but, if they start to get beaten on a regular basis, they would have the opposite effect, due to lack of atmosphere etc, etc.
