Agreed. The Batemans, Williams, Burgess brothers are only going to get better in 2 years time.
Whereas in two years time, Australia's spine of Smith, Cronk, Slater, Thurston will be 34.
Don't think we've had a better chance in many a year.

Yes, you are correct. The referee produced that world class kick over the top from McGuire and that shoddy tackle attempt from Grix. Idiot.

Maybe that's why they don't pick players from the smaller clubs. They might be worried they have the same small time, always the victims to the big boys, it's all a conspiracy mindset as their fans.

| End of the day I don't think we'll be seeing cudjoe and Jerry playing together for England this series, Leroys not going to owst Watkins for right centre, and I don't think Jerry is gonna displace hall to left wing. Although i do think they have a chance of playing, I just doubt if will be as pair. Leroy make take batemans shirt and Jerry may take burgess

100% correct calls any day of the week. The refs are not accountable for Hudds having no leadership, brains or bottle.

| Maybe. Although I'm a Wigan fan and Burgess has had a terrific season, it seems a bit harsh not to give McGillvary a shot after the year he's had. Personally I'm not convinced he's international class, but I guess there's only one way to find out.

| Joe Burgess is a player that like to go around people rather then through them and there simply wasn't any space on Sunday. There isn't a winger I'd rather have in front of him when it come to having a bit of open space in front of him. Not only is he rapid but his rugby brain is fantastic and the amount of assists he has is very impressive.
It's up to the halves and his centre to work that space for him. In the meantime though he's safe and solid and I'd be stunned if he didn't keep his place.

| There were a couple of changes I would have made before KO - Bateman & Farrell - who I would still change. I had no problem with Burgess being picked, even though I am a huge McGillvary fan. I'd be surprised to put it mildly, however, if there are any changes for the 2nd test, subject to injury.

| I'd be surprised if Tom Burgess didn't receive at least a caution from the disciplinary panel for what I thought was a blatant shoulder charge.

Or you can just call it as it is instead putting blinkers on because it doesn't suit your argument.

I'm no Huddersfield fan but from an objective viewpoint the 2 penalties that changed the game in Leeds favour were not penalties and Leeds were very fortunate to receive them.
Why the need for insults, are you that arrogant or just insecure?

What's to be insecure about? We won everything whether you or anyone else likes it or not. I suppose you can call it arrogance if you really have to label everything.
The insecurities seem to lie with fans of other teams who desperately seek to belittle Leeds' achievements to cover up their own team's failings.
Plus if I think someone is an idiot, I will call them on it. Much like you have just done to me.

No they weren't
Not arguing that Huddersfield have failed at Play Off level or that Grix's attempted tackle was anything but poor.
None of that alters the fact that Leeds were penned inside their own 10 on tackle 4 with the clock ticking and being 8 points down.
They were dead and buried if they'd been forced to kick at the end of that set but Hicks gave them a penalty that wasn't and backed that up with another dubious call.
Leeds are good enough to seize that kind of a lifeline but they needed the intervention of the referee to get the win!
Huddersfield have really rattled the Leeds supporters haven't they!
