He's been a good player off the bench.
He's never started a game for Cas.
Cas probably did want to keep him, Wigan probably offered more money.
A fair chunk more money for someone who does circa 20 minutes a game...there has to be a point where you just accept it's a losing battle.
Disappointed to have lost him ? A little. In the same league as Wattsy ? No way. Irreplaceable? I wouldn't say so. |

Agreed Dave...but he was definitely our best forward last season, along with Harrison Hansen. Great signing for a championship club. |

An improvement on Clark IMO. Does more minutes and a lot smarter with the ball in hand. Also doesn't take up a quota spot so a win-win for me. |

Has Powell said he is a direct replacement for Clark? I see Hepi as more of a Bateman-esque type player with his best position being second row or loose. I'm not sure he's an out and out prop.
Having said that, the guy is hard as nails and plays right on the edge. He certainly won't take a backwards step and I'm curious to see how he develops under Powell.

Yeah. I'd imagine he'll come off the bench and provide some enthusiasm like Clark did in the middle of the pitch. |
