Ah yes of course! Because HKR are the only sports club in the land whose attendances rise and fall depending on performances and success

Spain or Argentina for World Cup 2010.'"
Lets remember it’s a minority we’re on about here and there is no way I’d ever let that minority turn me from supporting my country, certainly not for a far more right wing country like Spain who remember still torment any black player!

| Quote: FireWire "Good chants in RL are few and far between. My favourite Wire ditty is 'She wore a yellow ribbon' which will hopefully be sung at Craven Park later this month.
Most of them are just generic tripe though, or copies of football songs. By far and away the best chant in Rugby League is Hull FC's 'Old Faithful'. Nothing else even comes close.'"
at the Boulevard it was awesome to hear them singing that but at the KC it just doesnt have the same effect to me, doesnt sound half as good, mind you i've not really heard it much at the KC.
Batley fans make me chuckle when they sing Bat-a-ley Bat-a-ley,why not just drop the A and sing Batley Batley ??

| Looking at some of the post's in this thread I was wondering something.
Do you have to have a low IQ or come from a family like "Till Death Us Do Part" to qualify for the chant squad?
What a sad existence.....

| Quote: Jesus Of Suburbia "FFS it's a laugh while you're in some random country with 4000 p-ed up England fans'"
I suppose it's too much to ask that you act with a bit of class and respect to your hosts and other countries and cultures, isn't it?
Quote: Jesus Of Suburbia "england chants at toulouse away will be fun'"
Hopefully you'll get shouted down, as a small contingent of Salford's following did when they they started chanting "Ingerlund" at Les Catalans. It's got naff all to do with Salford, Halifax, nor Rugby League in general. In fact, it could easily pass as the worst chant I've heard in RL. Alongside Warrington's hillarious repetoire about Salford, slums, scum, druggies and all the rest of it. Oh how we laughed.
Quote: Jesus Of Suburbia "I remember Manchester United fans beating up Real Madrid fans as they got off the trams in manchester. Ergo, all Manchester United fans are clearly scum including you.'"
You've never labelled an entire set of supporters as nobheads, have you? Oh no.
I do love threads like this...

| A lot of these chants leave a lot to be desired. A lack of imagination for many and bordering on moronic for others. Sadly it probably reflects the demise of the educational system and society standards.
Chants which are cleverly constructed, unique and do not need to resort to bad language are the best ones. Making sheep noises is pretty infantile.
On the evidence of a few posters on here, it’s a damning indictment of the chant starters if this is what they are all like.

Now that, whilst been very simple, is clever and witty, however it doesn’t contain the F word and is rather inoffensive therefore it will be deemed dull and boring

ah,,,,,,but when followed up with
He's Got 3 letters, in his name,
He's Got 3 letters, in his name,
He's Got 3 letters, in his name.......his second name is orr!.....it becomes a tad more contraversial
If you are after the "f" word.....we can do that as well.
One "f" in Gafa.....there's only one "f" in Gafa.......one "f" in gafa....there's only one "f" in Gafa
