| 1. Keith Mumby - best defensive player ever, quality goalkicker and excellent in attack
2. Ellery Hanley
3. Gary Schofield
4. Martin Offiah
5. Paul Sculthorpe
Cunningham possibly should be in there ahead of Sculthorpe due to longevity. Howevr, I felt that in their prime Sculthorpe was the better player.
Mentions should also go to Kevin Ward, Andy Platt and Adrian Morley but like most people I've gone for the flair players rather than the workhourses
Suprised Henderson Gill has been overlooked and Paul Harkin the only player I ever saw who never made or took a tackle in his entire career

| It's difficult to pick a top 5, but i would say Jason Robinson has to be one of the top GB backs of all time?

| Quote Gijou="Gijou"Posted in the All Time GB side thread:-
1. Jim Sullivan
2. Billy Boston
3. Neil Fox
4. Harold Wagstaff
5. Mick Sullivan
6. Roger Millward
7. Alex Murphy
13. Malcolm Reilly
12. Dick Huddart
11. Vince Karalius
10. Ken Gee
9. Joe Egan
8. Brian McTigue
Seen at least detailed footage of all of them bar nos. 1 and 4.
I'll stick with that side.
Slot in Eric Ashton at centre and maybe throw the virtually unrecognised genius, certainly in that spot, of one Harold Poynton back at fullback for the hell of it...
Can understand the love for others at fullback - Lydon, Shoebottom, Martin Ryan, Charlton, even Hampson circa 1990 - to name a few at random.'"
I think that's a good side but the numbers 6 and 13 are nowhere near the best, even in their own eras.
