| Quote loiner81="loiner81"Nothing insecure (or modern) about me i'm afraid, fan of the game for 33 years. The clue's in the name.
People who twist and make up facts & figures continuously to suit some lame online persona/agenda are the ones with problems.
Thanks for confirming you included RU "event" attendances but "forgot" to include similar RL games too.
Nothing surprising there though eh. How about we exclude those events for obvious and much discussed reasons then re-do your table? You probably already did though and again for obvious reasons you've decided to go another way with twisting your stats....
Here's the top 3 for you just in case..
Leicester
Leeds
Wigan
Now how about those made up Word Cup ticket sales claims? Anything to back them up yet or do we just pretend you never said it?'"
You are never going to get through to Billy, he just wants attention.
Put him on ignore and he will get frustrated and start making jokes about the holocaust again. There was a nice enforced absence after that.

The Magic Weekend total attendance was 62,042 in 2013.
62,042 divided by 7 Magic Weekend SL fixtures equates to an average of 8,863 per fixture.
The average SL attendance in 2013 excluding Magic Weekend fixtures was 8,559 per fixture.
The average SL attendance in 2013 including Magic Weekend fixtures was 8,570 per fixture.
The difference between the inclusion of Magic Weekend fixtures in the overall SL attendance average figures and not including Magic Weekend fixtures in the overall SL attendance average figures is 11 per fixture.
Massive agenda right there.
No, really.

Course not. Did you divide the RU events too? No, thought not.
As a side note, there's a nice review here of last years RU double header..
[iThanks to aviva got some tickets. Was a good event but a bit long and other than the Rugby there was not much to do or see so we left early.[/i
Free tickets and he was still bored

| The problem with some RL fans is that they have a similar attitude to the music fan who likes obscure, 'alternative' bands, and despite claiming how unique and special they are, would like nothing better than to see them accepted into the mainstream by the masses and become as popular as those they despise for their 'blandness' and commerciality.
Personally, as I said before, I don't think RL will ever compete with the Rugby Union's of this world with regard to national popularity, but I don't honestly see why this should bother true fans.... In my eyes, and to the majority on here, RL is by far the most skilful of the two codes, the most entertaining - Unfortunately, people have to accept, however odd it may seem, that the majority in the country prefer RU.

| Quote loiner81="loiner81"Free tickets'"
I am often lambasted for freely admitting to using connections to get to as many Broncos games as I could using freebies...they are there for every game, it's just about knowing where to look. Of the 30,112 at the Westpac last year, there were 7,000 "competition winners" care of Vodafone.....I attended 2012 SoO game 1 with Free tickets....State of Origin...the pinnacle of the game, giving away freebies??
As for this comment...
Quote loiner81="loiner81"Did you divide the RU events too?'"
If Billy actually divided up the double header, then the Aviva would be bigger and as for the other 2 "events" they were single games......how would you divide a single game that is part of a regular round of games?
Your refusal to accept that Union gets bigger attendances and more fans to games is quite funny actually......you would be far better using the defence that without London and Salford, SL would be better

| at the insecurity of certain people in this thread.
I have little to no interest in RU but when some idiot makes assertions without backing them up... in this case, [i"Aviva premiership attendance figures are nowhere near super league figures"[/i (according to dubairl)... I like to see the evidence provided (including context) to back up such assertions.
So I dug out the evidence myself and compared those Aviva attendances with attendances in Super League only to discover that Aviva Premiership attendances were 34% higher on average, and that's after removing all the RU "event" attendances whilst including all the Magic Weekend "event" attendances.

I was joking, more about the fact he got free tickets and still left early because the only thing to watch at the RU "event" was a game of rugby. It kind of backs up what alot of people have been saying about these big event games. It's more about the sausage rolls & drinking than the sport on offer. But how come all of a sudden free tickets are ok but discounted tickets are bad for the game.
Anyway, enough. I'm bored s**tless. You're like an annoying jack russell yapping away constantly. Same yap over and over and over and over.........
Here's some more Gutterfax style RU stats for you before i block you and don't have to read any more of your yapping. You'd do well to read and take them in...
100% of the 104 people currently reading these forums are fully aware that international RU is significantly more popular than international RL.
More than 99% of them could care less, they're here to read and talk about RL.
