| Lets put this another way....
What would the reaction be if wigan did it? Announced a player failed, bring him back on, delete the tweet and make a joke.
There would be a 50 page thread on here for a start

I also thought the 2nd sin bin was soft but I think he gave it because of an accumulation of foul play as opposed to that tackle as a stand-alone incident.'"
The ones you've just listed. How are they any different to Kendall's? I would also add 2 more forward pass incidents (Naiqama was literally stood in front of Makinson when he passed to him) but I wouldn't necessarily expect you to agree and it doesn't matter anyway as you've agreed with plenty others and enough to make the point, which is that all referee's make mistakes and they are only an issue if they don't go for your team or vested interest.
Just to clear up one point though. The 2nd sinbinning wasn't for an accumulation of foul play. The warning he gave was for "players running in". There was no mention of any other types of offence. Neither were Catalan on a team warning so that the next offence of any type would result in a player going off. The 2nd sinnbinning was soft. No mitigating circumstances.

When have I said they’re different to Kendall’s mistakes? You’re putting words in my mouth again and/or judging me on what others have said haha.
Kendall made mistakes in Wigan’s favour the other night, Moore made a couple in our favour last night. Conclusion, most refs aren’t very good and make mistakes. No insinuation of bias or favour or games getting reffed differently for Wigan.

Can’t speak for everyone but I’d literally think “oh sky got it wrong” and I’d get on with my night and not cry about a conspiracy including doctors putting players lives at risk.

Why can’t you get your head around the fact that there was a breakdown in communication? The lad running the twitter account isn’t a medic. He’d have been given the same wrong info that sky were given. It’s not hard.

| I've got my head around that and that is fine. But why delete it rather than explain it. Does that not make it appear that you are hiding something?
As I said, I doubt he did fail because I doubt (or certainly hope) that Saints would do that but the situation should have been handled better than making a joke about it

| Tbf the person doing the twitter might literally be watching it on sky like the rest of us (I don't know either way).

Agree with the quoted post mate but how am I putting words in your mouth when I was responding to the post below which literally lists the mistakes he makes as a reason for him not to get the final?
This has to be a wind up surely?
I agree he got the Griffin call correct by the way, it was a stupid act from Griffin and Kendall was spot on.
However, Kendall also made a series of howlers which have been listed already in this thread. He also missed two incidents last week that should have been red cards and also should’ve sent Greenwood off v Saints.
So to suggest he deserves to get the final is crazy talk in my opinion. However knowing the RFL like I do, I 100% expect him to get
Edit: It won't let me bold the part that mentions the "Howlers" listed in this thread. That's the specific part I'm referring to.

I agree there. They should’ve clarified it.

I don’t follow you. I don’t think Kendall deserves the final as he’s made many higher profile errors. That doesn’t mean no other ref makes howlers too. I just don’t think Kendall “deserves” next weeks game. Having said that, it’s a fairly poor quality pool we are picking from. None of them are flawless.

Sorry mate, I tried to bold the part I was referring to above but it wouldn't. You mention the "Howlers" he made IN THE WIGAN GAME (not shouting but I can't bold on here). They're not howlers. They were no worse than those last night. In fact I'd suggest the soft sinnbinning and the shepard for Grace's try were far worse than anything Kendall missed in the Wigan game.
I agree that the Mcillorum one was a bad one but can any of us honestly say they "saw" the Tomkins one? When Myler complained he asked did he want to make a complaint to which Myler replied "no". What else could he have done?
You're basically saying Kendall shouldn't get the final because he missed one head high tackle. If that's the criteria then we have no ref for the final.

I’m not saying that at all. I’m saying he also made mistakes in Wigan v Hull game and also the Wigan v Saints game.
Yes all refs make mistakes, I just think he’s made a few too many recently to be a shoe in for GF, that is all.

So why on the Wigan page have you literally just wrote:
“Seeing as the club twitter announced he had failed an HIA and wouldn't be back, it would be interesting to see a report of what happened
If they have put him back on with any issues then they need to be made an example of by the RFL/SL.”

None of which were "howlers". Just the same type of error made by every referee in every game as I illustrated using last night's game. The reason you think they're an issue is because they were against Saints or for Wigan. When they're for Saints they aren't an issue and certainly not one big enough to preclude the ref from getting the final.
No one is suggesting he is a shoe in. NK suggested he'd be his choice to which you replied "surely this is a wind up" (sic).
