Poor record they have. Last 10 seasons they’ve reached 14 SF’s in Playoffs and the Cup and only have 1 trophy to show for it and Ben Flower gifted them that one.
Agree with the previous poster though, Price still needs to back it up with a win next week otherwise Warrington will have achieved the unwanted achievement of losing both major finals in a season twice in 3 seasons.

I don’t know about that. Nothing has been expected of us. I never expected to reach either final or even the top four never mind achieve all three. Our squad has a lot of re-building work to have done still. We lack in a lot of areas yet still overachieved in our coach’s first year.
I said at the start of the season that this year was a free hit, wherever happens happens as long we we get in the Super 8s.
A loss next week [ishould[/i happen really, Wigan and Cas have shown that they are consistently better than us over the course of the season and both would be favourites against us. A loss will be no disgrace and no questions should be asked.
A win and, as you say, it would be a very special achievement.

| Great result for the Wire. Saints have been found out since teams realised they have a poor mans Graham Appo at fullback and a Jamie Foster clone at scrum half.

not really, this is still ostensibly smiths team, this year is a free hit in terms of whatever happens. After last year everything is a bonus

| Don't think it should be thought of as a free hit. Wire haven’t won a GF and been a few years now for the CC. With the 2 teams who have dominated those competitions in recent years out of the picture this season then this year was/is a real opportunity to do something (like Catalans did)

It's so easy for you to say, after all, how many finals have Leeds, Wigan & St's been involved in over the last twenty years?
You as supporters have become so blase about getting to the G.F. & heaven forbid if you fail then it's been a poor season.
I would just like to see another group of supporters feel the elation that you must have felt on seeing your team lift the trophy for the first time in living memory, that is if you can remember? After all your success, it must have dimmed by now.
As for teams rolling over, Leeds haven't done a bad job this year mind.

no, no one was tipping us for anything this year, first season with a new coach instilling a new ethos after us being pathetic and ending up in the qualifiers, with a halfback marquee signing that had rumours about going home from pre season which ended up saying he wanted out. Losing the first 5 games of the season.
No one was expecting anything like what we've done so far, it's all a bonus.

I would suggest Hull (CC) and Leeds (GF)

Man for man, especially if you include Curry, you are as good as nearly any team in SL & should be up there competing.

we're only 2/3 bodies different to last year, and we were shocking last year as part of tony smith's post grand final malaise.

I'm not disputing how crap you were. It could be argued Saints under fatty were almost as bad.
