Not to worry, I'm sure you'll enjoy the trip to Hemel and West Wales next season.

I know they have a few "locals" in the squad but, they missed the boat with these players, who may have had half a chance of competing in league 1 but, haven't a hope in hell of competing in SL.'"
Are they trying to set up local clubs? Is there an interest in actually playing the game, as opposed to just turning up and watching a pre-prepared product, so to speak?
I'm not a huge fan of Toronto playing in the English leagues anyway (because of the problems with travel etc.), but I'd definitely be more supportive if I knew that there was a serious attempt to develop the sport in the city, and a realistic possibility of it succeeding.

I'd recommend the Whippets and Flat Caps Podcast Episode 25 ( https://whippetsandflatcaps.podbean.com ... noble-mbe/). Long interview with Noble and unless he's the world's greatest conman then Toronto are working extremely hard to develop interest in junior players and amateurs.

Rather a flat cap than the dunces cap you wear.

So now you’re even taking the Mick out of your own expansionist clubs - you’ve just created a whole new level of stupidity - well done.

Is that straight forward enough for you ? But the RFL are that desperate to add something NEW to our game, we have Toronto and 2 French clubs in the RFL.
Rumour has it, Ralph Rimmer is targeting that wonderful planet Pluto next for a new team to join our league. But with their currency being a 'plip-plop' it could cause a few problems.
Some would say that it's about bl**dy time that the RFL showed desperation to add something NEW to the game. Nigel Wood coasted for years, Ralph Rimmer looks like he's the fat controller's apprentice, Brian Barwick's 'contacts' are all from a 1960s Roladex. The NRL 'bent' their rules to encourage expansion, especially in the case of Melbourne Storm. We can't do anything to assist Toronto? Not even re-arranging a few fixtures?

Wolfpack were admitted to tier 3 under the agreement that until they entered SL they would pay for away travel and accommodation. To date they have done so, albeit with complaints (from fans mainly) about student dorms and travel to training etc, as well as the criminal record v temporary visa saga that lumbers on...all can be described as teething issues and are to be expected.
The 2018 fixture list being skewed because of upgrades to Lamport most assuredly benefited the Wolfpack, but if we are allowing for teething problems, then fine.
What isn't acceptable is Noble and the club whining about home and away scheduling......a block of 4 home games would 100% give the wolfpack an unfair advantage and as such, they've received a compromise....as for the £300,000 spend....their issue, not ours!
As I say, I hope HKR stuff them......another year in the lower tier will cost Argyle another wedge and for all his "bar tab down the local" bravado, this is real cash.
If they go up, then I hope that the SL side enforce their scheduling strictly......and that the powers that be are all over their cap.........

| In terms of their 2019 schedule 2 home games followed by 2 away games throughout most of the season would seem a fair and reasonable compromise.
February is a problem for them as Toronto doesn’t really get above freezing, they may need to start the season with 3 or 4 away matches, or home games will be postponed due to the weather. You can be sure M62 clubs won’t want to travel to Toronto away on a Wednesday night rearranged fixture.

| Catalans and Toulouse manage with the standard fixture arrangement. In football clubs could play on a Saturday then in Champions League fly to Russia for a match on the Wednesday and play on the following Saturday.
If Toronto can't handle it, they shouldn't be in this league. Simples.

Toronto certainly puts grim cities like Manchester, Leeds and definately Bratfud in the shade.
Manchester is a grim city is it?

I heard Ian Leningrad say they'd have Perth in the Sooper Leegue.
