| Unexpected from Sinfield - last man you'd see get sent off. It wasn't a simple touching heads like Leeds fans are portraying on this thread but equally it's not the aggressive smack that other people are saying too. Dorn moves towards Sinfield (not with his head) just stepping forward. Perhaps Sinfield felt like he was going to get it so got first shot in with the headbutt with a medium force.
I'd give him a 2 match ban.
With the Peacock incident, I'll have to watch it back again but my belief is that Clark goes down with Leeds man on him and rolls over looking to get on his front. As he does so, he wants to move his ankle so it's flat but Peacock holds on with undue pressure keeping it where it is and bending it with force.
The simple fact is that he should have let go - there was another Leeds man completing the tackle and Clark made it known he was in pain. For me, it's no more of a technique issue - possibly just a fine - but don't think it's a ban.

It was definitely a 'proper' headbutt. He didn't rub heads like that Leigh player did to Peacock in the CC game. (Peacock who got off scott free for punching - probably the only player to do so this season). He clearly headbutted and his manner was definitely aggressive. All that was very plain to see. Whether the disciplinary committee have some special kind of headbutt in mind when they describe it as aggressive (Grade E-F, 4-8 matches) rather than a headbutt while displaying an aggressive manner I don't know but by the RFL's own disciplinary rules he can't be charged with anything less than a Grade C (3-5) because he definitely made full contact with Dorn's head!'"
Eh, have you ever seen a 'proper' headbutt? what Sinfield did was not a full on headbutt. And I'm not excusing his his actions, it deserves a ban.
As you've said he can't be charged with anything less than 3 games, which is what I think he will get.
Peacocks non ban has nothing to do with this I'm not sure why its relevant.

| Anyone else just find it pretty funny? Another 50 of those and Dorn might have been in trouble!

could we not say the same for leeds but for 2013.
Sinfield deserves a ban it was foul play and defiantly something you don't want children replicating, its by far worse than punching no matter how much force was behind it.
Also Jamie Peacock needs to be warned or banned for grabbing a player around the throat there is no need for it, you grab a player by the shirt not put your hands around their throat and its not the first time.
3-4 for Sinfield
warning - 1 for Peacock

Thats a crazy expectation of a player. All Peacock did was tackle a player and hold on to his leg. The player rolled over and the ankle became twisted between Peacock and the floor. I think, in those moments, to expect Peacock to think, this roll may lead to the ankle getting in to a dangerous position, there is another man in the tackle, it will be completed, I will let go, is just far too much.
All Peacock did was tackle a player by the ankles, He actually doesnt bend it all. He didnt put the ankle in a bad position. Peacock attempted a tackle in a text book way.

Agree. I think Clarke was playing for time to try to set up a long distance drop goal.

I agree peacock didn't do anything wrong with the clark tackle he didn't role which would suggest he didn't intend any harm.

It was definitely a full on headbutt! That's why he was sent off. It wasn't a partial touch of the head. He wouldn't have been sent off for that. Cas would have been awarded a penalty. He did it right in front of the ref and with the Sky cameras on zoom, so we all saw it. Only the most blind Leeds fan could begin to call it anything other than a headbutt.
The question will be whether the disciplinary consider it an [iaggressive[/i headbutt. If they do then it's a Grade E to F charge; if they don't then it's a Grade C.
