| If thats Marwan attitude to team discipline they could sign Jonathan Thurston and Paul Gallen they will still struggle in the League.
And all the same noises were made "I'm being made a scapegoat, its not my fault its his fault" before wigan fired him off to Widnes.
If it is for drinking then he wont be alone unless he is an alcoholic and any player who has been drinking during the build up don't deserve their career, biggest opportunity to be proud of British Rugby League and some thick idiots are spoiling it.

| Hope there's plenty of Voltarol at hand with all the knee-jerking going on here...
At least let the facts filter through before stringing them up to a lamppost.

| The England coach needs to come out asap and reveal all the facts, the rumours will just keep coming otherwise.A line needs drawing under the situation fast so the rest of the squad can focus on the next few days to make sure we at least compete on saturday.
like TheButcher says, lets let all the facts filter through first. They will.

I actually thought it was quite accurate
Actually there is a theory that category 3 are your gold-dust - high performing people who don't buy into the corporate bull because that's what it is - but want to do a good job for themselves and the businesses' customers. ie people with integrity and standards who are not sheep there to please weak ineefectual middle management but people with their own drive and creativity. These are the people to be harnessed not people who pay lip service to the corporate ideal because they are generally just two faced with no integrity or loyalty. All this American business school nonsense you spout is short-termism that is destroying many big, successful businesses who built reputations over a century or more. The British banks and chocolate manufacturers being obvious examples.
Is bull your stock-in-trade?

| Quote: gutterfax "According to senior Business Management all across the world, here are 3 types of employees.
1. Those that buy into your Core Values and Can do the Job you need doing the way you want it done.
These people are great and are gold dust.....and few and far between.
2. Those that buy into your Core Values and Can't do the Job you need doing the way you want it done.
These people are great as they can be taught/trained to do the job you need doing, the way you want it done.
3. Those that do not buy into your Core Values, but can do the job you need doing, the way you want it done.
These are people that senior business leaders around the world all say should be removed form any environment that has intentions of growing/prospering. They are Toxic.
Now, regardless of his talent and ability to play the game, I would identify Hock as a "3"
It may be that "other" players were involved, but they are either #1 or #2 type people and therefore, there is a benefit to keeping them in the squad.'"
According to cynics all across the world...
Buying into corporate core values sounds suspiciously like selling your soul. They could have said 'share' but no, they need to conquer you. Senior management don't have values, they have objectives - one of which is convincing their employees that they have values, admittedly. This generally fails, but everybody plays along - the management so as to seemingly fulfilll the objective, the employees so as to be paid without having to attend remedial indoctraining courses.

| Rumour on our board is that he was fighting with Graham.
Whatever has happened, I'n glad he's gone. He's a massive liability and has been crap this season.

That would make more sense to me. Graham and the others who were said to have been involved initially don't strike me as being unprofessional. Whereas I wouldn't trust Gareth Hock to run a bath without getting into an argument with the taps.
Those saying its unfair on Hock are being daft. The other players (if they've done much wrong at all, I doubt they have) have built up a degree of leeway, Hock was on his very last chance and was lucky to be in the squad in the first place.

| Well if it's a fight I hope Graham got his money's worth.
As for the management stuff. For me you don't need mavericks who follow the culture you need trail blazers who will change it for the better but predominantly you need the whole company or team to follow.
In England team point of view you need leaders and followers. Whatever direction they go, they all have to go.
If I was in the team I'd feel better that the management wanted to run a tight ship and get rid of the bad apple

| Let's see who has a black eye on Saturday for the warm up!
Have to say that Koukash's Twitter (if it is him - I'm not sure) is pretty unprofessional for a club owner.
